Have I missed something fundamental, or have the esteemed Studios moderation actually deleted my mod forum without notifying me? (And if so, how long have I not noticed this for? Haha.)

(As flippant as I am about NPC Damage in general, I do think spontaneously exterminating entire forums without consulting anyone is a definite low point, and I would strongly encourage all modders here to consider whether this is something they'd enjoy being subject to. :S)

Well, given that most modders here delete people's posts (Dorotea et al) or the game enjoyment (BMP), I think it's fair game if the admins can delete forums for the sake of it 
(or, minors would post pics of them hurt, etc etc)

I find all of this extremely interesting.

You should probably read better. I said that most modders here do at least one of these things, not all of them:

Yes, it'd be nice if we could get on and mod without forum politics. Unfortunately, your forum vanishing makes that difficult. I recommend an appeal to the Studios staff to allow modders to get on with their business, but I fear it would fall on deaf ears.

So, I've been active here (but never useful) to a varying degree for quite a while now. And you forum bigwigs, love you all, but some of you really need to... er, chill.
And that's all I say, before I have the stuffing torn out of me by vastly more intelligent and scary people then myself.

I'm doing some PM pursual, yes. I haven't had good luck talking to the staff here about problems in the past though. Perhaps the addition of a new staffmember will lead to a more amicable solution.

In fairness to Hishi, I'd see no reason for anyone to have to tear the stuffing out of you.
And it would be nice to get on with modding but frankly modder(s) that post racist, trolling foul mouthed posts where they're not wanted does make that rather difficult.
Equally I would appeal to our posters sense of decorum when posting, but I tend to think that most of them already have that.
